The tahrouite is an iconic shawl worn by the majority of women in the area of Muoy. The symbols woven into each Tahrouite have special meaning and can reveal information about who is wearing it.
Aicha grew up in Kasr Mouy Tadighoust and learned craft from her early age from her mother. She is widowed and has two kids. She joined Association Tadighoust to join forces with other women artisans and protect their craft and revenue. Her Anou sales have helped her to provide for her kids education.
