The tahrouite is an iconic shawl worn by the majority of women in the area of Muoy. The symbols woven into each Tahrouite have special meaning and can reveal information about who is wearing it.
Nora studied in school until the sixth grade. Several years later she married young and is now a widow. She supports her one child through her work at the association. She hopes that she can continue improving her craft so she and her association can sell more and improve their livelihoods.
