Boucherouite rugs are thick colorful rugs used making recycled clothing that are no longer in use. Many of Tadighoust's boucherouite rugs are defined by distinct traditional symbols rooted in Saharan culture.
Aicha Chaouai born in Ksar Mouy, she is a widow and mother of six children. She learned weaving at home with her mother and later developed her skills within the cooperative. She hopes to teach weaving to her granddaughters.

Association Tadighoust hosts visitors in their village — share tea, watch the artisans at work, and see the craft up close. Visits start at $14 per person, and most of it goes straight to the group.
