Hussein started making daggers in 1979 after learning the craft with his older brother. He specializes on the curved daggers that are made specifically by Azlag. Hussein is married and has six children.
This intricate dagger, known as the tuareg dagger, is unique in that it is not only straight, but entirely made of wood or bone. Each dagger is entirely handmade, from the handle to the sheath.
