I learned the craft of rug weaving from my grandmother. I joinded the cooperative because I love making rugs and weaving. My goal with this cooperative is to have a stable financial income and also to develop our cooperative in order to help rural women who are in great need of it.
My name is Kabira and I am 29 years old, I am married and I have two children. I stopped going to school after the sixth grade. I started working with the cooperative three years ago. I learned the craft of rug making from my mother. My goal is to enter the cooperative to have a steady income, and for my love for the art of carpets. My goal is also to develop our cooperative and move it forward.
