Rachida was born in 1977 in Beni Moussi. She joined The Cooperative Zohour Development of Women immediately after it was founded. She works in weaving and knitting and she learned the craft from her mother when she was a child. She likes to be creative in her designs all while preserving the local designs that the area is known for. In her free time, she looks forward to mentoring little girls who dropped out of school just as she had to do when she was little.
Pile rugs are an authentic part of life of Beni Mousi as they can often be found being used to decorate receipt on rooms or bedrooms. Usually made of genuine wool, these rugs are highly durable.
