Mohssine is part of a long lineage of metal smiths, as he inherited the metalsmith craft from his father and grandfathers. However, the metal shop has change substantially since he first took the reins. At the start, the workshop was filled with many workers and produced enough sales to support the families of many workers.

But because the metalworkers lacked marketing opportunities, they were forced to give up much of their earnings to middlemen who then sold their work for them. Over time many metalworkers left to look for other work opportunities, and eventually, Mohssine became a one-man shop. Mohssine had been waiting for an opportunity to increase his sales and expand his shop.

Ben Jelloun Mohssine

Mohssine was born in Fes just as his fathers and grandfathers were before him. Today, Mohssine is married and has two daughters in high school and one younger son. One of his daughters will be helping Mohssine help run his shop on Anou. Metal craft is something near and dear to Mohssine's heart. When he was young, he chose to learn his craft instead of going to school and does not regret his decision. The income he makes from his craft is primarily used to take care of his family. His day off is Friday, where he goes to the mosque and relaxes with his family. In the future, he hopes that Anou will improve his life and enlighten the lives of many more people through out the whole world.
