Mohssine is part of a long lineage of metal smiths, as he inherited the metalsmith craft from his father and grandfathers. However, the metal shop has change substantially since he first took the reins. At the start, the workshop was filled with many workers and produced enough sales to support the families of many workers. But because the metalworkers lacked marketing opportunities, they were forced to give up much of their earnings to middlemen who then sold their work for them. Over time many metalworkers left to look for other work opportunities, and eventually, Mohssine became a one-man shop. Mohssine had been waiting for an opportunity to increase his sales and expand his shop. When he met Anou's artisan team, he believes he finally found his opportunity.
