What's included in an artisan residency?

Each residency includes accommodation with the artisan cooperative, home-cooked meals, and the full craft experience. You'll live in the village, eat together, and work alongside artisans every day.

How do I book?

First, visit a group's residency page and submit an application. Once accepted, you'll receive a link to choose your dates and complete your booking. If you've already been accepted for any Anou residency (including in Fez), you can book directly.

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies by group and is shown on each residency page. It's a flat daily rate that covers everything. 80% of your payment goes directly to the artisan cooperative, and 20% supports Anou's training programs.

Do I need to speak Arabic or Amazigh?

No! While most artisans speak Arabic, Amazigh, or French, the craft experience transcends language. We can also help arrange interpretation if needed.

Are there discounts available?

If you've completed a residency at Anou in Fez, you get 10% off artisan residencies. You can also refer friends for 10% off. Interested in our Fez residency program? Learn more here.

How do I get to the village?

After booking, you'll receive detailed directions and GPS coordinates. Most villages are accessible by car or public transport. We can recommend drivers if needed.
